Established in 1994 by John Bradley we have the essential experience required to deliver high quality, unique bespoke jewellery and handle a commission in a professional but friendly and relaxed way.

We were one of the first jewellers in the UK to embrace computer aided design to enable you to see the design in it’s true form. This allows us to first show a range of idea’s and designs, fine tune the final design and then make your jewellery to perfection. All of the images on this web site are computer models and often reflect the real items you can come and see in our shop in Saltaire.

Dot the Jewellers was started back in 1994 by its owner John Bradley. Originally a designer manufacturer, John sold his work all over the UK & Ireland and as far afield as Japan. The move into retail was a logical step when the workshop relocated to the Redbrick Mill in the spring of 2004. It became obvious when the shop opened that the speciality and individuality of the designers work attracted customers looking for something personal to them. Jewellery made for weddings, anniversaries and those special birthdays tops the list.

In 2007 the showroom and workshop moved to the tranquil heritage site of Saltaire offering more space and easier access.

Dot the Jewellers creator originates from Wetherby in West Yorkshire. He started his academic jewellery life in Bradford at Diploma level before achieving a first class degree in Metalwork and Jewellery Design at Sheffield. Two years of working in the jewellery trade followed before he started Dot in 1994.

Johns designs come from a strong desire for the new, not content with replicating designs. The push of "what if" drives the forms and styles into new areas, always looking for the twist to push an idea into a new piece of jewellery that is as individual as its owner. A strong understanding of the materials and techniques starts the technical "what if" and the creative process begins. All of this is backed up by over 15 years of experience of creating perfectly formed jewellery.
